Croque-mort itin\u00e9rant, il vend ses services \u00e0 qui en a besoin, c\u00f4toyant ainsi des familles en deuil qui ne sont pas toujours particuli\u00e8rement respectueuses de leur d\u00e9funt ! Au fil de ses p\u00e9r\u00e9grinations, lui qui, solitaire, n\u2019avait comme compagnon qu\u2019un vautour, se voit oblig\u00e9 de poursuivre son chemin avec deux femmes tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rentes l\u2019une de l\u2019autre.<\/p>\n<p>Les aventures que vit Jonas se construisent par cycles de deux albums. Par sa stature, d\u2019abord\u2026 Par sa personnalit\u00e9 de m\u00e9decin assassin et pervers, ensuite\u2026 Par les liens qu&rsquo;il cr\u00e9e avec aujourd&rsquo;hui, enfin\u2026 On ne peut que penser \u00e0 la guerre 14\/18 et aux gueules cass\u00e9es qui oblig\u00e8rent la m\u00e9decine \u00e0 faire d\u2019immenses progr\u00e8s, on ne peut que penser \u00e9galement aux exp\u00e9riences m\u00e9dicales des m\u00e9decins nazis, exp\u00e9riences qui se continu\u00e8rent, on le sait maintenant, en Am\u00e9rique latine largement apr\u00e8s la guerre 40\/45\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Le coup de ma\u00eetre des deux auteurs, Xavier Dorison au sc\u00e9nario et Ralph Meyer au dessin, c\u2019est de nous donner le portrait de cet ogre sans aucun manich\u00e9isme, en en faisant m\u00eame, physiquement, un personnage souriant, presque jovial. Caroline Delabie, complice fr\u00e9quente de Ralph Meyer, a beau dire qu\u2019elle s\u2019efface derri\u00e8re le travail de Meyer et Dorison, il n\u2019en demeure pas moins que sa mani\u00e8re de cr\u00e9er la couleur dans cette s\u00e9rie r\u00e9sulte d\u2019une vraie collaboration et d\u2019une r\u00e9elle inventivit\u00e9, cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9.
