Une jeune danseuse, Navit, et un jeune dessinateur, Arch, pauvres tous les deux, vivent \u00e0 New York. La jeune femme trouve un travail chez un homme d\u2019affaires qui, amoureux d\u2019elle, l\u2019\u00e9pouse avant de mourir et d\u2019en faire son h\u00e9riti\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parall\u00e8lement, Waldo est un avocat extr\u00eamement dou\u00e9 et terriblement retors, fils d\u2019un entrepreneur riche \u00e0 millions et peu int\u00e9ress\u00e9 par le sort de ses ouvriers et employ\u00e9s. Et un jour, d\u00e9go\u00fbt\u00e9 de ce qu\u2019il a \u00e0 plaider, il claque la porte au nez de sa famille et de ses richesses assur\u00e9es<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces trois destins vont se croiser, se m\u00ealer, se perdre et se retrouver, par le gr\u00e9 du magazine de charme que Navit conserve de son h\u00e9ritage. Mais tel n\u2019est pas le cas, et au travers d\u2019une intrigue qui se d\u00e9multiplie \u00e0 certains moments, la mise en page, la construction graphique se r\u00e9v\u00e8lent, au-del\u00e0 du seul r\u00e9cit, un v\u00e9ritable hommage \u00e0 ces artistes souvent m\u00e9connus, dont les traits \u00ab sexy \u00bb ont enchant\u00e9 bien des lecteurs !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/bd-chroniques.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/laponehommage.mp3\"><\/audio><figcaption>Antonio Lapone : un livre-hommage<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Vous l\u2019aurez compris, ce livre se d\u00e9marque quelque peu des \u0153uvres pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes de Lapone. Son style graphique lui-m\u00eame a \u00e9volu\u00e9, comme pour coller du plus pr\u00e8s possible \u00e0 ce foisonnement de personnages, d\u2019une part, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9volution aussi, au fil des ann\u00e9es, de la narration. Bien s\u00fbr, on reconna\u00eet Lapone tout de suite, son trait tr\u00e8s \u00ab design \u00bb, tr\u00e8s \u00ab dessin de mode \u00bb \u00e9galement, tr\u00e8s \u00ab vintage \u00bb pour user d\u2019un terme sans grand int\u00e9r\u00eat mais tellement \u00e0 la mode ! Depuis toujours, en effet, c\u2019est le regard de l\u2019homme sur la femme qui se trouve au centre de ses livres.
