Mais une biographie qui ne se contente pas de suivre Rodin d\u2019\u0153uvre en \u0153uvre, d\u2019ann\u00e9e en ann\u00e9e, mais qui s\u2019enfouit dans ce que\u00a0 fut son existence autour des femmes. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 trois femmes, qui forment, chacune, un des chapitres de ce livre.<\/p>\n<p>Rose, d\u2019abord, la compagne des d\u00e9buts, celle qui devint, \u00e0\u00a0 la fin de la vie de Rodin, son \u00e9pouse.<\/p>\n<p>Camille, ensuite, s\u0153ur du tr\u00e8s catholique Claudel, \u00e9l\u00e8ve de Rodin, amoureuse passionn\u00e9e et d\u00e9mesur\u00e9e de cet homme qui lui faisait d\u00e9couvrir en m\u00eame temps son talent et ses possibilit\u00e9s de bonheur charnel.<\/p>\n<p>Claire, enfin, que Rodin aima sans doute\u00a0pour ses talents amoureux autant que pour sa facult\u00e9 \u00e0 g\u00e9rer son \u0153uvre d\u2019homme vieillissant.<\/p>\n<p>En guise de morale, Rodin utilise une phrase lapidaire reprise dans cet album : il n\u2019y a pas d\u2019immoralit\u00e9 dans l\u2019art\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Pas d\u2019immoralit\u00e9, sans doute, mais une immense amoralit\u00e9, le besoin pour Rodin de ne pas s\u2019inscrire dans les r\u00e8gles de la biens\u00e9ance. Il eut des amours tapageuses, avec des femmes qu\u2019il vampirisait \u00e0 sa mani\u00e8re. Il eut une carri\u00e8re construite autour de l\u2019\u00e9rotisme, dans ses sculptures, bien s\u00fbr, mais aussi dans ses dessins qui, pour certains, se faisaient \u00e9rotiques au travers d\u2019une sorte de figuration presque abstraite.<\/p>\n<p>Ce livre aurait donc pu \u00eatre tr\u00e8s \u00e9rotique, mais il n\u2019en est rien. Parce que c\u2019est d\u2019amour et d\u2019amiti\u00e9, m\u00eame charnelle, que les deux auteurs nous parlent, et, habill\u00e9es, toutes les femmes qui peuplent cet ouvrage n\u2019ont rien d\u2019\u00e9rotique. Pour qu\u2019un tableau, un po\u00e8me, une sculpture prennent vie, il leur faut l\u2019apport de la rencontre, du hasard, l\u2019affrontement avec d\u2019autres formes artistiques.<\/p>\n<p>Pendant toute son existence, Auguste Rodin, ainsi, ne s\u2019est pas content\u00e9 de cr\u00e9er des formes n\u00e9es de ses imaginaires ou de ses seules souvenances passag\u00e8res. Il a nourri son art\u00a0de dessinateur et de sculpteur\u00a0des rencontres qu\u2019il fit. Rencontres f\u00e9minines, c\u2019est vrai, et donc amoureuses, mais rencontres totalement artistiques aussi : ceux qui le prirent comme \u00e9l\u00e8ve \u00e0 ses d\u00e9buts, ceux \u00e0 qui, ensuite, il apprit son m\u00e9tier et, parmi ceux-ci, Camille Claudel. Rencontres litt\u00e9raires, \u00e9galement, po\u00e9tiques m\u00eame. On aurait pu avoir peur donc d\u2019une \u00a0\u00bb interpr\u00e9tation \u00a0\u00bb de l\u2019\u0153uvre de Rodin par les aquarelles prises sur le vif d\u2019Alessandra. Par un sc\u00e9nario fouill\u00e9 et tr\u00e8s cibl\u00e9 sur l\u2019amour et l\u2019amiti\u00e9 comme inspirateurs de l\u2019art, par le dessin, aussi, qui r\u00e9ussit \u00e0 s\u2019effacer derri\u00e8re la stature imposante du personnage qui a servi de mod\u00e8le \u00e0 ce livre, les deux auteurs parviennent cependant \u00e0 donner vie \u00e0 Rodin, \u00e0 ses certitudes comme \u00e0 ses doutes, \u00e0 ses engagements comme \u00e0 ses fuites, \u00e0 ses l\u00e2chet\u00e9s comme \u00e0 ses volont\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Un excellent album, qui vient \u00e0 son heure, et qui prouve que le neuvi\u00e8me art peut tr\u00e8s bien se conjuguer avec toutes les autres formes artistiques\u2026<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jacques Schra\u00fbwen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Rodin (dessin : Jo\u00ebl Alessandra \u2013 sc\u00e9nario : Eddy Simon \u2013 \u00e9diteur : 21g)<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jo\u00ebl Alessandra nous parle, dans cette chronique, de celui qui fut sans doute le plus grand sculpteur des dix-neuvi\u00e8me et vingti\u00e8me si\u00e8cle.
